STAND UP MIDLAND
It's almost time for our annual STAND UP MIDLAND, for child abuse awareness. Several non-profit agencies host this family friendly event as a way to bring awareness of child abuse in our community. We also strive to provide an environment where families can find resources in a central location in a nonjudgmental atmosphere that can strengthen the family. The event will be April 14, 2020, at Beal Plaza in the center of the Midland College campus. We will try to start at 6:00 p.m. and have activities until 7:30 p.m. Atmos Energy is providing the food, and we have asked other providers to donate, snow cones, popcorn, and iced tea. This event is open to the public for all ages so please bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the wonderful West Texas evening - you won't want to miss it!
