 , fueled by addiction\, infidelity\, and abandonment\, he learned the impo

 mented when he played his saxophone at Carnegie Hall in New York City at t
 he age of 14. His 23 years of professional experience in youth development
 \, mental health advocacy\, and drug and alcohol prevention\, in addition 
 to thousands of presentations\, makes Jeremy a Powerful Voice for youth ac
 ross the country. Jeremy will share his story and how one person\, one pow
 erful voice\, can make a positive impact in the life of a child.\n\nDue to
  COVID-19 and our economic downturn\, severe child abuse is on the rise\, 
 leading to an increase in children being removed from their homes and plac
 ed in foster care. There has been a 55% increase in need for advocates. Th
 e advocacy a CASA volunteer provides is crucial to ensuring positive outco
 mes for these victims of abuse and neglect. CASA of West Texas provided ad
 vocacy to 478 foster children last year and will likely serve 515 children
  this year. We need your help to ensure every foster child has a CASA duri
